Responsible to:   Leadership Board

Membership:      A chairperson elected to a three-year term, plus the missions communicator,

                          peace and justice communicator, and the SEKNA representative.

Responsibilities:

 

1.  Promote and provide channels for evangelism, mission, service and peacemaking   

     activities, both in the community and in the world.  Help the congregation be supportive

     of members in service and missions assignments.

2.  In addition to quarterly meetings, the committee will call a semi-annual meeting of all

     persons appointed to related assignments, including:

          *Missions Communicator

          *Peace and Justice Communicator

          *Mennonite Disaster Service rep

          *Mennonite Central Committee rep

          *Southeast Keizer Neighborhood Assn. rep

          *Housing and Outreach Project for Elderly rep

          *Salem Outreach Shelter rep

          *Mennonite Women's Ministries service rep

          *Mennonite Youth Fellowship service rep

          *Et Cetera Shop rep

          *Vacation Bible School Superintendent

3.  Chair is a member of Leadership Board.
