VISUAL AIDS COORDINATOR/S

Responsible to:       Worship Committee

Membership:           One or more persons appointed by the Worship Committee

Term of Office:        Two years

Responsibilities:

     The Visual Aids Coordinator/s will work with the Worship Committee Chair to:

     1.  Coordinate or provide floral or other arrangements for Sunday morning

          worship services.

     2.  Plan for appropriate banners for the sanctuary.

     3.  Coordinate seasonal decorations, such as Advent, Easter and Thanksgiving,

          carrying out any worship themes planned by the Worship Committee for

          these seasons.  This includes obtaining a Christmas tree if one is desired.

Other Responsibilities:

     1.  Be in charge of labeling and storing banners and seasonal decorations,

          keeping them in good repair and disposing of those that are no longer

          usable.

     2.  Provide rosebuds on the occasion of the birth of a baby.  The Church

          Secretary will notify the coordinator of the birth.

Necessary funds will come from the Worship Committee budget.

Note:  The Pastor will be responsible for flowers to the sick/hospitalized as well

as flowers for funerals.
